Chemcasts

Chemistry podcasts

Bored of reading your chemistry textbook? Think you remember things better when someone says them to you? Tired of listening to the same old music files over and over again? Want an easy way to do some revision on the move? Then why not try a chemcast! These audio files can be saved onto the mp3 player of your choice and played whenever and wherever you like. Well, not in exams, obviously.

To save these files right-click on the links and select 'save target as'.

A-level Physical
A-level Organic
A-level Inorganic
Moles and calculations Benzene Transition metal ion colours
GCSE Chemistry
How to balance any combustion symbol equation

Got a request for a particular topic? I can't promise to do it that quickly (I have a full-time job!) but I'll try my best: Email: mail@drkstreet.com

If you're looking for some reading to back up the information in these files then I recommend:

  • Chemguide (for A-level)
  • BBC Bitesize Chemistry (for GCSE)

Health warning: chemcasts are a suplement to, not a replacement for, thorough revision. Yes, you still need to do your reading. Yes, you still need to practise answering exam questions. Yes, you still need to complete all those tasks your teacher set you!
